Our Wedding

It began, as the best things often do, without intention. A sunlit afternoon on February 13, 2022, as the light softened and the day slipped gently toward sunset.On the pickleball courts in Delray Beach, Florida, a simple introduction turned into something quietly meaningful before we even realized it. Zach was visiting from out of town; Jaimie was simply there, playing a game that would, in its own unassuming way, change everything.What started as a casual rally stretched into hours — easy, unhurried, as though neither of us felt the need to be anywhere else. There was a comfort between us from the very beginning. Familiar, yet new. Light, yet impossible to ignore.When the games came to an end, neither of us was quite ready to say goodnight. Jaimie mentioned she needed to head home to walk her dog and offered to drop Zach off along the way. Without hesitation, he offered to come with her — an ordinary moment that would quietly become one of our favorites.From there, everything began to fall into place.What followed was never about grand gestures, but about the little things — laughter that came easily, time that felt well spent no matter what we were doing, and a growing sense that this was something worth holding onto. We found joy in the everyday, in the simple rhythm of being together, in choosing each other without ever needing to question it.It wasn’t rushed. It wasn’t complicated. It simply felt right. And somehow, that made it everything.Now, as we step into this next chapter, we carry that same feeling with us — warm, certain, and full of love.Somehow, it was always meant to be.

- Mt. Airy Road is gravel, so please drive slowly and with care.- The road will transition into Hallaran Drive and become paved.- Continue straight through the gates as the road splits into three.- Please take the one-way road to the left, following signs for Events &amp; Tours.- Continue along this road and park in the designated lot at the base of the venue.

12:20 pm - 12:40 pm

Guests who reserved this service are kindly asked to meet in the main lobby of The Flat Iron Hotel no later than 12:20 pm. The vans will depart promptly at 12:40 pm for Longleaf Vineyard.

4:15 pm - 4:35 pm

The vans will arrive at Longleaf Vineyard by 4:15 PM and will depart by 4:35 PM for dinner at The Flat Iron Hotel.

⚠️ Important: If you plan to use Uber, Lyft, or another rideshare service to travel to or from the wedding, please share the following instructions with your driver before arriving at Longleaf Vineyard.

1. Rideshare vehicles may not park, wait, or stage on property.2. Your driver should communicate with you before arriving so you can be ready and waiting.3. If you are not present when your driver arrives, the driver may be asked to continue around the one-way loop and return.4. Longleaf Vineyard staff cannot locate guests or wait with guests for their rideshare vehicle.5. Please keep your phone nearby and be attentive to calls or messages from your driver.6. The Guest Drop-Off/Pick-Up Area must remain accessible for the Longleaf shuttle and other vehicles.7. Please be considerate of our residential neighbors by driving slowly, observing posted speed limits, and keeping noise to a minimum.

The venue is located within a residential area, and we kindly ask all drivers to be respectful of our neighbors by observing posted speed limits and keeping noise to a minimum.

When You Arrive

After entering through the metal gates, the road will split into three directions.

1. Turn LEFT toward the Events &amp; Tours area.2. Do not proceed in any other direction. Longleaf Vineyard has a ONE-WAY traffic loop, and following the correct route is important for maintaining traffic flow.3. Continue toward the top of the property to the designated Guest Drop-Off/Pick-Up Area.4. Once you have dropped off your passenger, please continue around the one-way loop and exit through the metal gates.5. Passengers should have your belongings ready and be prepared to exit the vehicle promptly upon arrival.

Rideshare Pick-Up

Please Plan Your Ride in AdvanceArranging your return ride in advance is VERY important.Longleaf Vineyard does NOT have a designated staging or waiting area for Uber, Lyft, or other rideshare vehicles.

Drivers cannot park or wait on property while waiting for guests, and should not block any residential properties leading up to the venue.

Please request your ride based on your anticipated departure time and be waiting at the designated Guest Drop-Off/Pick-Up Area when your driver arrives.

When Your Driver Arrives for Pick-up:

1. Enter through the metal gates.2. Proceed LEFT toward the Events &amp; Tours area.3. Follow the ONE-WAY LOOP to the Guest Drop-Off/Pick-Up Area.4. Meet your driver at the designated area and depart promptly.

The ceremony will begin at one thirty in the afternoon. What is the dress code?Semi-formal. We invite you to dress in elevated garden / vineyard attire. What should this feel like?Relaxed, romantic, and effortless. We’ve imagined a day that feels like an exhale—unhurried, intentional, and full of the people we love most. What is the schedule for the day?1:30 PM – 2:00 PM — Ceremony2:00 PM – 4:30 PM — Live music, light bites, drinks, wine tasting, and more to follow4:30 PM — Head over to Iron Works Reception Lounge at The Flat Iron Hotel in downtown Asheville5:00 PM — Intimate dinner to follow at the Iron Works Reception Lounge at The Flat Iron Hotel in downtown Asheville How will the day unfold?We’ll start with the ceremony, then ease into an afternoon of wine, music, and time together. What airport should I fly into?The closest airport is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), approximately 15 min from downtown Asheville. Alternatively, Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is about a 2-hour drive. Are children invited?While we love your little ones, this will be mainly an adults-only celebration.
